This week we celebrated our 100th of day of kindergarten. All week students shared their collections of 100 items. There were many very creative projects! We tried to imagine ourselves at 100 years old and then we enjoyed a 100th day snack.

Chewonki Owl Visit
We have been studying owls in our class and today we had some special visitors! It was very exciting to see real owls up close! We had fun and learned a lot!

I'm the Gingerbread Man!
The past few weeks we have been studying the Gingerbread Man. We have been reading different versions of the fairy tale and comparing their characters, chant and ending. We wrapped up the unit by making gingerbread man cookies!

Fire Prevention Week
This week we are learning about fire safety and prevention!
Ask your child what they know about fire safety.
Writer's Workshop
We were given a writing partner to help us make our writing even better! The students also got to make their very first books! The students practiced "telling a story across the pages" with their partner to help think of ideas about what to write.
